Sarine Technologies Ltd has announced that the South Korean jewellery retail chain Golden Dew launched the Sarine Profile digital in-store diamond display platform in all its 72 stores across the country last week. The system allows the retailer to generate its own reports on diamonds in its inventory.

The reports can be called up scanning a QR code. It also displays high-resolution video and imaging, as well as graphics that outline cut quality. According to Sarine, Golden Dew will also be adopting its Sarine Connect diamond jewellery search and display app.

Sarine CEO David Block remarked, “Retailers who stay up to date with the latest in-store technologies are positioning themselves to meet the challenges of today’s rapidly changing jewellery retail environment. Golden Dew recognises the value of the use of point-of-sale technologies, such as digital imagery and video display, and their importance to the modern consumer.”

Golden Dew President Pil-Sung Lee said, “We believe the Sarine digital report, which is being presented for the first time in accordance with digital trends in Korea, will make the diamond purchase process much more convenient and inviting for consumers. It will also further increase the credibility of diamond appraisals via an enhanced customer experience, as it allows customers to view the diamond’s features directly from 3D images.”
